Why flexible water & fuel storage?

Flexible storage, a.k.a. primary containment, offers a variety of benefits much like flexible secondary spill containment. First and foremost, the collapsible nature of flexible fabric inherently lends itself to portability, compact storage, and cost-effective shipping options. Second, flexible containment offers an increased usability for workers in terms of time and expense in setup and take-down. Finally, flexible spill containment provides all the security of meeting Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations including Spill Protection Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) compliance.

What is it and where is it used?

The most common forms of primary containment for are bladders and reservoir liners. Bladders traditionally come in two forms: pillow tank and 3D. Pillow tanks lay completely flat when empty and rise into the shape of a typical pillow. These are best deployed in areas were footprint and structure are less important. 3D tanks are built to realize a specific structure, e.g. box-shaped or cylindrical-shaped. Reservoir liners can be as small as your backyard pond or large enough to support an entire cities water supply.

Bladders are commonly used in military, industrial, and residential applications. They are the safe simple alternative to large metal or fixed structure storage solutions.
