Potable Water Grade (NSF61 Compliant)

We use only NSF61 certified fabrics for our potable water applications. Whether for the military or commercial or residential applications, we prefer Seaman Corporations XR-PW products. We supply alternatives but prefer to work with our US-based fabric manufacturers.

Vinyl-Coated Polyesters (VCP) -- Chemical Resistance Chart
VCPs, a.k.a. PVCs are a trademark of the industry. A step above the “Blue Tarp Camper”, a solid VCP tarp is a very versatile and cost-effective option for most weather protection and short-term containment applications.

Structure Fabrics

Structure fabrics are a special type of VCP or VCN (nylon) specifically engineered for tensioned structure applications and coated to resist UV and debris. Typically, a top-quality structure fabric has an acrylic top-coat which makes for easy cleaning and UV-resistance.
