Salmon Restoration

The Pacific Northwest and its unique geographical environment, rich with natural resources,fed and fueled many industries that built the region we know today. From Washington down to California, one can debate that the most vital and important natural resource to this region are the variety of salmon that have been swimming these waters for thousands of years. The salmon depend on a variety of healthy water systems to make their voyage possible, and over the last 100 years, their environment has been greatly affected by a variety of factors resulting in a steady decline of population. However, as of late,communities have partnered with indigenous tribes and governing agencies to help support and revitalize this natural resource and its habitat. Many projects have seen positive results in restoring the native salmon habitat, and the pilot program in McCloud River, of Shasta Reservoir, CA seeks to do the very same. It is a series of engineered curtains that help direct flow while providing cooler shaded waters for the salmon to swim during seasons of drought or times of intense heat.

Water Filtration Systems

Working in partnership with an NGO, we’ve developed and perfected a product that delivers sustainable drinking water to various communities in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. These tanks are part of a system that filters out 99.9% of bad bacteria. What makes these tanks special? First, the fabric is engineered and designed to withstand harsh environments while providing high-performance potable water solutions (NSF61 certified). Secondly, while being of strong and durable fabric, these tanks fold and are flexible, making transportation accessible for near or hard to reach destinations. These tanks have been delivered via truck, plane, canoe, and trekked in on foot. Whether responding and providing drinking water for temporary uses such as disaster relief, or a permanent solution like the various indigenous communities of Peru, these systems can be deployed and installed by a team in a matter of days. The results of having access to clean drinking water is a healthy, happy, and thriving community.

In this instance, we had the privilege of doing both small and large. In 2022, the Seattle Seahawks/Seattle Sounders were in need of a new field cover as well as covers for various sections of their seats. Mountain Village Resort

With an eye for details, our custom capabilities allow us to build products that provide our customers with a product that best fits their needs. What began as a conversation at a bar between two strangers ended up with a site visit, and a custom-built frame with cover for an event space located in the Saw tooth Valley in Custer County Idaho. With a view of the Sawtooth Mountains, a frame was erected over a concrete patio that tied into an existing outdoor gathering space. Conferences, weddings, and music festivals are some of the events the Mountain Village Resort puts on as their guests enjoy the atmosphere and scenery with loved ones and friends. Designed to withstand the intense weather conditions of a mountain valley, we manufactured this cover using outdoor structure fabric and the results speak for themselves. What a pleasure it was to build and see this in use.
